This site started as a search for the history of the families Kelsey, Cole, Moore and Poucher, and of course, the families that married into those: Worthington, Rothery, Hayes, Stonehouse, Bridgewater, Northern, Pierce, and so on. It has expanded into a search for the different Kelsey branches, hoping that one day we will tie all of the different branches to one tree. I am interested in working on any Kelsey family branch and welcome inquiries.
I started with a simple desire to identify people in old family photographs, so I purchased a family tree program for my computer, and discovered the wealth of information for genealogists on the Internet. Then I met cousins I did not know I had, doing the same research, and here we are.
We make every effort to be accurate and check the references for the information about persons listed on the site, however, mistakes and errors do find their way into the tree. Therefore this is very much a work in progress and is subject to revision, addition and correction. If you have information and/or documentation, or questions about the site or the tree, errors to be corrected, please use the contact page or Facebook link.
